The RSL Electronic Library includes digital copies of documents and materials originally created in electronic form: cultural heritage, books, dissertations, manuscripts, newspapers, journals, graphic materials, maps and other types of documents held by the RSL, including legal deposit copies. The collection features digital copies of documents from the 11th century to the present day and is continuously updated.
Full access to the Electronic Library documents is available in the RSL Reading Rooms; outside the RSL, access to restricted materials is provided in accordance with Part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
